Local Origins Rural Network : the basic idea -
Local
Marketing the skills and the produce from small farmers, crafters and businesses who are based in the North Argyll area of L-O-R-N. Food, crafts, goods, skills, services, tapping into our wealth of talent in our micro-businesses. Creating opportunities for local people and the many many visitors to buy from us.
Origins
All products to be grown, created, built, or made on the producers own L-O-R-N premises, within the expected restrictions of appropriate regulations and access to raw materials.
Rural
Sustaining our own rural economy in L-O-R-N which has been so badly hit by all the national and local problems over the past years. Inspiring new businesses.
Network
Bringing the community together to facilitate all ways to improve our local sustainability, including solving logistic problems, training, creating opportunities, inspire co-operation and empowering each with the support of the others.
