Local Origins Rural Network

Working towards a more successful and sustainable life by connecting all our primary businesses of North Argyll with the local community.

Friends of LORN

Are you frustrated that it is so hard to find out who is making, growing, baking, fishing and how to find skilled arts, crafts and trades folk in the Lorn area of North Argyll?
There are no public bodies who are providing any support or creating connections between primary producer or skills businesses, so we decided to develop our own Network.

It is called Local Origins Rural Network - or LORN for short.

LORN's aims are to connect the skills and producers together and with you, all in the wider community. We all need to work together to protect our local resources, environment and economy.

We invite you to become a Friend of LORN.

What are the benefits for you?

1 - regular e-newsletters to keep you up to date with what is going on in the Network.
2 - access to the LORN online community, where you can find out about all the Network members, ask questions, source products and skills and be the first to know about special deals.
3 - get exclusive offers from our producer and skills members.
4 - be part of building a sustainable community in the North Argyll area.

LORN would also LOVE any help you can offer - IT skills, putting out posters across the area, helping with the organisation, assisting at markets, anything you would like.
